Cairo: The deep-rooted fraternal relations between the UAE and Egypt culminated with cooperation in the area of development. This was stated by Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, on Thursday during the inauguration of the Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak Language School in Nasr City, Cairo, after renovation.

She added that the school and other UAE development projects in Egypt reflect the depth of relations between the two peoples, hoping that the school would further educate a number of female students to contribute effectively to building of greater Egypt.

The event was attended by Dr Maitha bint Salem Al Shamsi, Minister of State; Dr Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, Chairman of the Coordination Office of the UAE-Funded Development Projects in Egypt; Mohammed bin Nakhaira Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Egypt; Retired Lt-General Mohammed Hilal Al Ka’abi, Head of the Organising Committee of Zayed Charity Marathon; Jalal Mustafa, Commissioner of Cairo, senior officials and students.
