Students in Dubai have their day of honour

It was a proud moment for Grade 12 students of Dubai National School, Al Barsha, when they graduated with flying colours.

Parents and teachers gathered at the school to witness their students and daughters dressed in their full graduation robes, with mini-mortar boards, receive their graduation scrolls on Tuesday.

Maitha Nasser Mir Abdulla Khori, who graduated with distinction and a loyalty award, has set her eyes on joining Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi to pursue her studies in bio-medical engineering. She is passionate and said she was happy with the career choice she has made.
