A mobile sewage planet; bricks made to weather the harsh Gulf environment; and a reusable bioreactor to grow cells and tissues, are just some of the innovative and highly functional inventions designed by young Emirati science students and will be on show at the “Think Science Fair” in Dubai later this month.

The fair, the culmination of the Emirates Foundation for Youth Development’s 2013 “Think Science” competition, will showcase 165 proposals selected from hundreds of entries put forward by young Emirati science students from universities and schools across the country.

The Think Science Fair held under the patronage of Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will be held in Dubai’s World Trade Centre from April 21 to 23, when winners will be announced.
