I’ve never really thought about being a principal. It certainly appeals to me, but sitting behind a desk in a room alone to earn a living isn’t exactly the best job in the world. I would change all the periods to ‘Do whatever you want periods’ and give everyone anything they would want to do. First thing that comes to my mind is to exchange all the CPU’s we have with PS4s and sign a contract in the name of the school saying that nothing in the computer lab can be changed. Build a football field bigger than FC Barcelona’s Camp now. Turn each student’s place into an Emirates A380 first class suite! That’s all I would do for one day, as long as I am in a good mood. I hope it happens.
Abu Dhabi Indian SchoolIf I were principal for a day or even for a really long time, my primary concern would be the heavy load of books. I would order school lockers for each student. I would start an e-learning type format and also more extra-curricular activities. All school buses will have cameras for safety checks. In case children bunk, teachers should call their parents to ask them if they were sent to school. Thing is I don’t want to be that harsh.

If I were the principal of my school, then school would be cool. I would make students happy and tell them not to worry. I would add new rules and make it fun. Every month we would have picnics. We would keep classroom pets and have games every day.

If I become a principal I would stop these long lectures of discipline and hard work. I would tell students short stories with a moral in them so they could learn good values. I would promote a little more or different extra-curricular activities. I would also decrease the amount of homework. As a principal I would ask my students for their opinion to improve our school. I would do my best to lead my school towards honour.
For that special day, I would start the school with a minimum 30-minute exercise session compulsory for students of all ages. I would then reduce the number of periods from 8 to 5 in order to enhance the quality of learning by offering more time per period. I would like to increase the time of the break to half an hour so that kids can enjoy healthy food with their peers followed by some recreational activities to enhance their individual capacities. And at the end of the day, I would resign from my chair with an aspiration to bring these modifications forever.
