The vent helped the youth gain insight into the current dynamics of the world, be it in science, environment, social issues, information technology and mathematics.

It tapped the creativity of the students and showcased various talents such as story writing, innovation, analysis, dramatics, debating, mathematics and dance.

The event comprised six competitions and was open to students from Grades 9 to 12.

Eight schools from across the UAE competed fiercely in each category. The students performed with skill and flair far beyond their years. The messages that each event portrayed showed the commitment of the youth to create an intellectual revolution.

The overall championship was won by DPS Dubai, but as a host school, the trophy was passed on to the runners up, Sharjah Indian School.

DPS Sharjah won the second position.

Citizens’ Forum, a brainchild of the Principal, Rashmi Nandkeolyar, was instituted as an innovative interdisciplinary event which seeks to empower students to be creative thinkers and charismatic leaders.
