In a short span of time, Cadenza Music Institute, Abu Dhabi, has established itself as a name to reckon with. This school for music and arts opened in June 2016 and has already achieved many important milestones.
Recently, the results of the prestigious Trinity Rock and Pop Examinations of London were announced and students from Cadenza passed it with flying colours. Ten students from the institute gave the Vocal Examination across various grades, and have bagged outstanding results with some amazing comments from the professional examiners. Six of the ten passed with Distinction and the remaining four have attained Merit. One of the students, Moke Ame Mowatt, a Grade 3 Vocal Student, has achieved a near perfect score of 99 per cent. Moke, Hannah Jino Koshy and Rachel John were the Trinity College London (TCL) Toppers in Abu Dhabi for Rock and Pop Vocals in November to December 2016.
These results are a testament to the hardwork and dedication put in by Rose Abegail Ortiguero, Managing Director, and staff.
"This is simply a humble beginning, we have a long way to go yet but we are grateful for our students and we congratulate them for their hard work," said Ortiguero.
Cadenza offers rigorous training and exercises and provides students a number of opportunities to display their talent to the public. This month itself, the institute has taken part in four different events celebrating the festive season of Christmas.
Students entertained crowds with their melodies in different Christmas Bazaars in local schools as well as with ear-catching recitals in public malls and hotels such as World Trade Centre Mall, Royal Rose Hotel Abu Dhabi, and City Seasons Hotel.
This exposure is great for children at a young age and goes a long way in building their interpersonal skills. This also gives them a chance to overcome stage fright, learn to work as a team and get motivated to push the boundaries and achieve further. Ortiguero highlights that both seniors and kids as small as five years of age, thoroughly enjoy the experience and yearn for more.
"I just began my violin course, and I never thought I'd make it to the stage so fast. It was fun and a very different sort of experience though and I'd like to do it again," said the violinist of Cadenza's choir, Klyde Neilsen Gironella, student of Alexis Ronald Pizaña.
This goes on to show that the institute is consistently showing its prowess in churning out bright, talented young musicians, who are not just outstanding achievers in exams but also confident on the big stage. With its professional teaching staff, aspiring musicians of any age can choose from a variety of courses. By enrolling with the institute students get to be a part of something exciting that has great future prospects.
