‘Think Science’ competition is organised under the patronage of Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emirates Foundation Board Chairman.
More than 300 young Emiratis and 75 supervisors and lab technicians attended the orientation workshops organised in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Abu Dhabi Educational Council and Sharjah University. The workshops included interactive and Q&A sessions on how to build a scientific proposal, with the aim of encouraging youth to get involved in more competitions.
Winners will be announced at the “Think Science” Fair at the World Trade Centre in Dubai between April 21 and 23. The 2013 “Think Science” Competition has attracted 160 project entries designed by 420 Emirati youngsters from high schools and universities across the UAE. —
