Two eco-friendly nursery schools to be built in Dubai

Acting on the directives by Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, the General Secretariat of the council announced the construction of two smart and eco-friendly nursery schools in Al Warqaa and Al Barsha areas. Each of the nursery schools will have a capacity of 200 students.

The announcement is part of a series of strategic initiatives in the field of education that aim to raise the bar in the quality of education in the emirate of Dubai and set standards for a unique model for preschool education.

Abdullah Al Shaibani, Secretary-General of the Dubai Executive Council, said the new smart and eco-friendly nursery schools are part of Dubai’s strategy to invest in education for the benefit of the future generations as per the vision of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

According to Al Shaibani, the council has signed agreements with strategic partners to build the nursery schools as per the highest standards of green and sustainable development. Main highlights of the project include eco-friendly transportation, organic agriculture and smart and high-tech tools that sustain a unique educational environment that nurtures creativity.
