The Ministry of Education on Tuesday announced that the next academic term for public schools would resume on Sunday, January 3, 2021 for all students, administrative staff and teaching staff.

Taking to Twitter, the ministry noted that all students would follow a distance learning model for the first two weeks. It would issue further updates depending on the development of the Covid-19 situation.

Additionally, for the shifts of administrative and technical staffs in schools, 50 per cent of the staff's capacity will be allowed in schools. Staff members can then switch with the other 50 per cent, while maintaining all safety precautions.
