UAE schools: 50% students may return to campus next week

About 50 per cent of students of some grades may return to school from January 17, the UAE’s Ministry of Education has announced.

About half of the total number of students in Grades 9-12 can return to schools.


Schools will implement a set of Covid-19 safety measures to keep students safe.

Students of public schools and all educational institutions in Abu Dhabi have been learning remotely since the new academic term began on January 3.

Dubai schools reopened as usual on January 3, with a mix of in-person and distance learning.
