UAE students receive top honours in Cambridge Examinations

As many as 24 students from five GEMS Education schools have achieved outstanding results in the 2015 edition of the Cambridge International Examinations.
Mohammed Faiyaz Huq from Cambridge International School, Dubai, received the 'Top in the World' results in the Travel and Tourism Examination, while 10 other GEMS students received results that were 'Top in the Country'. 'High Achievement' awards were also given to 13 GEMS students.
Among the other students recognised in the "High Achievement" awards were Robin Anthony Pritchard and Nicholas Zanella Penteado of GEMS Wellington Academy - Silicon Oasis; and Natalia Nooufal of GEMS Wellington International School.
Peter Burdon, Chief Schools Officer at GEMS Education, said: "These awards recognise the extraordinary achievements of our students and teachers." The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards celebrates the success of students taking the Cambridge examinations in over 40 countries around the world.In total, 87 UAE students are being recognised in the awards, including nine who achieved the highest marks.
