University hosts Arabic Tweetup

Hosted in partnership with Taghreedat, the event featured international and regional Arabic content creators who came together with the support of Google and Twitter as part of the ‘Arabic Web Days’ programme.

The event included prominent panelists from Google and YouTube, including Peeta Planet’s Al Awadhi brothers, the Kharabeesh team and twofour54’s creative lab, showcasing their various success stories in creating inspiring Arabic content. The new episode of the first ever Arabic stop-motion show ‘Arabizi’ was unveiled exclusively for the Tweetup attendees. In addition, the director of Freej, Mohammed Saeed Harb sent an exclusive behind the scenes video to participants.

Taghreedat’s annual Tweetup events have been attended by over 350 people of all occupations and ages and it’s the largest gathering of Arabic tweets together with international and regional Arabic content experts.
