Private school teachers, administrators and editors will meet with international counterparts and wellbeing experts to share tips and strategies for creating happy educational institutions during the "What Works" event in Dubai on September 28.
Over 600 people are expected to take part in the fourth edition of the event, which will be held at the Mohammed bin Rashid Academic Medical Centre in Healthcare City.International research has shown that providing students a happy environment enhance learning outcomes.
"We know that by placing value on the wellbeing of our teachers and students, the education community can improve learning outcomes for students, which is directly in line with the Dubai Innovation Strategy and National Agenda goals," said Mouza Al Suwaidi, chief of engagement at the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
"What Works' ... is a platform to connect teachers and students with positive educators and wellbeing experts, who then together as a community (can) use their knowledge to make a tangible difference to how we approach student learning in Dubai."
