Young Arjun Bhorkar started his experiments with computers and robotics at the age of seven when he received his first Lego Mindstorms Kit as a Christmas present. He went on to win the World Robotics Olympiad in 2008 at the age of eight and since then there has been no stopping.

He secured first position in the Dubai Zonal of The World Robotics Olympiad 2013, second in the UAE nationals and fifth at the World Robotics Olympiad in Jakarta in 2013.

However, his inventions and innovations are not limited only to Lego software. He expanded his interest to self-learning software programing like C, Raspberry pi, and Python to help him in his inventions.

At the Emax Innovators Competition, he was proclaimed “A One-Man Army” and won the first prize. He received praises for his automatic garage parking system and was also awarded a certificate of Excellence at Maker Day 2014.

At the Innovator Abu Dhabi 2014, meant for those above 16 years of age, Arjun, who is just 12, was much appreciated for being the youngest innovator. He surprised visitors with his automated “Flying Quad Copter” as well as a “R C Nitro Car” with a telemetric system, both highly-complex in design, considering his age.
