A good news for motorists who drive heavy duty vehicles is that from September 1 diesel will be cheaper by 2.32 per cent.
The Ministry of Energy, which fixes prices of petroleum products on 26th of each month, announced on Sunday new prices of petroleum products.
There has been rise in three petroleum products by up to 1.27 per cent in a month on month comparison.
The prices of unleaded gasoline-98 rose 1.14 per cent to Dh1.75 a litre; unleaded gasoline -95 will be expensive by 1.21 per cent to Dh1.64 per litre; and the per litre price of gasoline E Plus 91 has been fixed 1.27 per cent expensive at Dh1.57.
The prices will be effective September 1.
