Al Ain FC had blanked Austrian second division club Anif 3-0 in their first friendly game.

Al Ain Football Club are in Austria for their pre-season training. Al Ain have lined up a series of friendlies against Austrian second division clubs Anif, Puch, Karabusports from Turkey, Concordia from Romania, Paralimini of Cyprus before playing their last game against the Azerbaijan Olympic team.

Puch’s Huber Bernhard put his team ahead in the very seventh minute. But Al Ain FC ensured that they returned on level terms with Nasser Khamis scoring the equaliser in the 22nd minute.

The youth players of Al Ain FC came up with a good show and controlled the midfield but Puch relied mostly on counter attacks. The Puch defence too was rock solid which didn’t allow Al Ain FC to get the lead.

Meanwhile, Al Ain FC’s third friendly game against Karabusports has been called off because the Turkish team cancelled their camp. Al Ain FC will now play against Furth of Germany on Thursday.
