Abdulla Mal Alla immediately linked up with the squad at their pre-season training camp in Austria.

It is expected that Abdulla Mal Alla’s recovery will take four weeks.

Al Ain Football Club are in Austria for their pre-season training. Al Ain have lined up a series of friendlies. Al Ain FC next play Paralimini of Cyprus before playing their last game against the Azerbaijan Olympic team.

Abdulla Mal Alla expressed his appreciation to the club management for its efforts during his surgery and recovery.

“The pre-season training in Austria is going on very well and the training sessions have helped the squad a lot. I am sure that we will put on a good show in the new season,” Abdulla Mal Alla said.

Abdulla Mal Alla was not worried about the players who left the club and said that he was confident that Al Ain had the resources to mount a challenge in the new season.

“I wish the players who have left Al Ain to new clubs, all the success. We have a strong determination to fulfill our ambitions and we will do our best in the new season. We are fully confident in our team and I wish our fans will strengthen their confidence in the players,” said Abdulla Mal Alla.

Chilean playmaker Valdivia cut short his contract to return to his former Palmeiras in Brazil. Valdivia mentioned family circumstances as a reason for his transfer to Palmeiras.

Forward Marcio Emerson ended his two-year contract and joined Brazilian club Fluminense.

Meanwhile, Al Ain will play their fifth friendly against Paralimini of Cyprus, a first division club, on Thursday.

Al Ain coach Abdul Hameed Al Mistake oversaw the training session on Tuesday and will be looking to correct the mistakes they made in the previous friendly games. “We are looking at achieving a positive result in this match,” Abdul Hameed Al Mistake said.

Paralimini coach Cedomir Janevski, stressed that their match against Al Ain will help them prepare for the new season. The football season in Cyprus begins on August 28.

“We have some new faces in the squad and the match against Al Ain FC will be a good test for them,” Cedomir Janevski said.

“Last season, we finished sixth in the league standings and we are looking to improve on that,” said Cedomir Janevski.
