Al Ain ties up with Atletico Madrid

DUBAI - The Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club has signed a strategic collaboration alliance with the Club Atletico De Madrid.

The agreement aims to strengthen the mutual relations between both clubs in sports, cultural and social field and it is signed by Miguel Angel Gil, CEO of Atlético de Madrid, and Sultan Rashid, the administrator of Al Ain First Football Team.

A press conference was held at Al Ain Club to announce the partnership, which was attended by Yousif Mohamed Abdulla, general secretary of UAE Football Association and Emilio Gutierrez, commercial, marketing and communication director of Atlético de Madrid.

Another simultaneous official presentation of the agreement was held at Club Atlético de Madrid in Spain with Dr Khaled Mohamed Abdulla, CEO of Al Ain Club, being present to reveals the details of the agreement.

Dr Abdulla expressed his satisfaction for fulfilling the joint objectives between Al Ain FC in UAE and Atlético de Madrid of Spain, which has a magnificent track record of athletic success. “This unprecedented strategic collaboration alliance will pave the way for ongoing communication and signing more agreements which shows the extent of allied strategic cooperation between both clubs,” he said.

Gil said that the agreement would help to establish a series of sportive, commercial, economic, financial and advertising bilateral agreements.
