DSC to organise symposium
DUBAI — The Dubai Sports Council SC will organise on Tuesday the Dubai International Symposium for Prevention of Sudden Death in Football Playgrounds, a press release said.
A selected group of specialists along with a delegation from the Medical Committee of FIFA will attend the event. The Organizing Committee has approved the Symposium’s programmes to be held at Inter-continental Hotel (Festival City). Registration procedures to start at 8:30am, while official programmes of the Symposium will start at 9:30 am with two lectures; the first to be presented by Professor Firat Duru from the Medical Committee of FIFA under title “Sudden Death – Heart Attack” while the second will be presented by Dr. Yasin Al Zurqaini from the Medical Committee of FIFA under title “Introduction to Comprehensive Medical Check before the Start of Sports Season.”
