Dubai Duty Free team emerge champions
DUBAI - Dubai Duty Free emerged overall champions in the corporate event of Dulsco Sports Festival, held recently at the Dulsco Village events arena, Al Quoz, Dubai, a press release said.
The Sports Festival wasorganised by Dulsco Sports Club on the occasion of celebration 75 years of the company. Football, volleyball, cricket, badminton, table tennis and carrom tournaments were conducted for the corporate teams, and basketball and football tournaments were conducted for the hotel teams in the Sports Festival.
Dubai Duty Free (DDF) won the corporate football, volleyball and tabletennis tournaments toemerge champions. In football, DDF defeated Emrill, and in the volleyball and table tennis tournaments, DDF defeated Dulsco.
John Neale, Managing Director; and Johnson Alexander, Director, HR and QHSE; were the guests of honor for the prize distribution ceremony and gave the prizes for the winners and runners-up teams. Also present on the occasion were Mohammad Iliyas, General Manager, EPS; Mohammad Bilal, General Manager, IT; Mohammad Ayub, Senior Manager, QHSE, Shamshuddin, Senior Manager, Special Projects; Azam Shah, Senior Manager Accommodations.
