The reports mentioned that the security committee met in Aden where all the issues on the agenda were discussed in the light of the recent developments on the ground in both Aden and Abyan provinces.

The security concerns may, however, cause a possible suspension or even cancellation of the tournament for the safety of the players and officials. But no confirmation has been received from official sources.
