Created in 1974, Al Jazira have been one of the heavyweights in UAE football for a long time and they finally etched their name by winning the prestigious President’s Cup and capped it by clinching their maiden UAE League title last season.
And the club hope to continue their winning waysand have hiredBelgian Franky Vercauteren as their new coach after the departure of Brazilian Abel Braga.
The club has also worked at the grassroots level with the opening of the Al Jazira Club Academy in 2004 to nurture young talent.
“We are delighted to provide another round of our full support to the Al Jazira Club by renewing our sponsorship of its winning football team whose players seek to become champions of the UAE’s leagues and internationally,” Khaleefa Al Mehairi, IPIC Director of Human Resources & Administration, said.
