Shaikh Hamdan praises team
DUBAI - Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, felicitated the national Olympic team for winning the GCC U-23 championship.
The Crown Prince hailed the outstanding performance of the national Olympic team in the tournament and said that the event has played a major role in the development of football sports in the GCC states.
He also congratulated the UAE Football Association for this remarkable achievement. Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed also asserted that these successes would not have been possible without diligence and neat performance of players, the hard work of the UAE Football Association and the strategic planning for the development of national team under the guidance of Honorary President of the Association Shaikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, as well as the efforts of Chairman of the Association Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi and other members of Association.
