It will be the second warm-up game for the Brazilians on the continent ahead of the World Cup after taking on Zimbabwe in Harare on June 2.
“This will be a very important match. It is going to be the last trial for Brazil in which coach Dunga would pick his World Cup first eleven, therefore people from all over the world are interested,” Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) President Leodegar Tenga told reporters.
Tenga was addressing a news conference after signing a match agreement with the Brazil national team match organiser Philippe Huber, who said both sides had agreed on match terms.
He said the Brazilian team would arrive from South Africa on June 6, play the friendly on June 7 and depart immediately to return to South Africa where the World Cup finals will get underway on June 11.
The Brazilian contingent expected in Tanzania will comprise 60 people, including 23 players. Tanzania are not qualified for the World Cup.
