Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan will lead a UAE delegation to attend 11th edition of the India-UAE Joint Commission Meeting on Technical and Economical Cooperation in New Delhi.
Shaikh Abdullah will co-chair the meeting scheduled for September 2 and 3, along with Sushma Swaraj, Minister of External Affairs of India.
During the meeting, the two sides will discuss bilateral relations and ways of developing them in the fields of trade and investment, defence, manufacturing, infrastructure and urban development. Other topics on the agenda include security concerns, fight against terrorism, energy security, small and medium enterprises, as well as scientific cooperation in the space field, renewable energy, sustainable development, health care, and environment.
The UAE and India share a historical friendly relationship, which has been constantly developing through mutual official visits and growing trade relations.
