The Media Committee for the Sharjah Consultative Council elections has discussed various aspects of media coverage of the election as well as the use of all media outlets and social media channels.
This came during the media committee's first meeting held on Thursday morning at the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.
Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Head of the Media Committee and Member of the Higher Committee for the Sharjah Consultative Council Elections, said the committee would work to highlight the various stages of the Sharjah Consultative Council elections. It would also highlight the role of the SCC, at both the legislative and regulatory levels.
The meeting then discussed initial perceptions of the committee's plans and roles at the level of the various cities and regions in the emirate.
