Mohammed receives new envoys

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the and Ruler of Dubai, received on Tuesday at the Presidential Palace a number of new ambassadors who called on him on the occasion of beginning their tenure in the UAE.

Those who met included Joao de Mendonca Lima Neto of Brazil, Gegham Gharibjanyan of Armenia, Dhananjay Jha of Nepal and Orazumyrat Gurbannazarov of Turkmenistan. He wished them success in boosting friendship and cooperation relations between UAE and their respective countries in all fields for mutual benefit.

Shaikh Mohammed affirmed country’s leadership belief in the importance of humanitarian and cultural relations as a priority and expressed UAE’s keenness in building new bridges of communication with all countries worldwide without any distinguish.

The VP exchanged friendly talks with the new ambassadors and assured concerned authorities cooperation to facilitate their work in the country.

In attendance at the meeting were Mohammed Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, Minister of Education, Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Owais, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Dr. Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs and Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State.
