Shaikh Abdullah meets Bahrain King and Crown Prince
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain received UAE Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Al Safriya Palace in Manama on Thursday. Bahrain News Agency (BNA) said Shaikh Abdullah delivered a letter to King Hamad from the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, dealing with bilateral relations and latest regional developments.
Shaikh Abdullah also conveyed greetings of Shaikh Khalifa to King Hamad and his wishes of further progress and prosperity to the people of Bahrain.
King Hamad welcomed Shaikh Abdullah and praised the progressive fraternal ties between the two countries and their cooperation in all domains.
He asked Shaikh Abdullah to pass on his greetings to Shaikh Khalifa and his wishes of progress and prosperity to the people of the UAE.
Crown Prince of Bahrain and Deputy Supreme Commander of Bahrain Defence Forces Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also received Shaikh Abdullah.
They exchanged greetings on the last 10 days of the holy month of Ramadan and discussed ways to enhance ties between the two brotherly countries.
The meeting was attended by Bahraini Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Bahraini Transport Minister Kamal bin Ahmed, Shaikhs and senior officials.
