His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, personally called pupils who topped the list of high achievers in this year's secondary school exams (2015-2016), in the literary and scientific disciplines, before the results were officially announced!
According to local news agency wam, Shaikh Mohammed called Hajar Ahmed Al Qtaifan, of the Al Andalus Private Academy in Al Ain, who scored 99.9 per cent (Science), Israa Ahmed Abu Al Hussain Ibrahim, of the Al Raf'a School in Al Ain (99.3 per cent, Literature), Emirati Razan Sulaiman Mohammed Al Ka'abi of the Al Shifa bint Abdullah Girls Secondary School (99.2 per cent, Science), and Emirati Wafa Mohammed Al Yamahi of the Al Tawiyen Girls' Primary and Secondary School (99 per cent, Literature).
In the phone calls, Shaikh Mohammed congratulated the four students for their excellence and wished them further success and progress in their quest for higher education to build a bright future and serve their countries.
The students expressed their delight with the Ruler's initiative and thanked him for taking interest in their results, and personally following up on the performance of the educational sector.
