With the world's eyes on South Asia with the ongoing escalation between India and Pakistan - world leaders have contacted Prime Ministers of both countries to avoid conflict and maintain peace and stability in the region through dialogue - and the UAE leadership was one of the first countries to make efforts to ease tensions.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, had called up Pakistan PM Imran Khan and Indian PM Narendra Modi after the LoC air strikes.

Sheikh Mohamed and the two PMs exchanged talks on recent developments in the India-Pakistan arena. The CP emphasised the importance behind dealing with these worrying developments, and working towards easing tensions between the two countries, prioritising dialogue and communication between the parties.
The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince stressed the UAE's will to support positive relations between the two neighbouring countries, noting the common historical and cultural ties that brings them together.
The calls came after Khan announced the release of captured Indian pilot, Abhinandan, who is now back in India.
But, the same day, after the calls - Sheikh Mohamed tweeted messages of peace and dialogue between India and Pakistan in Hindi and Urdu, urging both sides to use wisdom in de-escalating the situation.
