All set to work for an ideal Emirati society that is healthy and sound in all aspects - spiritual, psychological and cultural. These words best describe the electoral agenda of Dubai's Federal National Council (FNC) candidate Shahinaz Abdul Razzaq.
The FNC hopeful No 279 said she is keen to make use of her extensive and diverse experience to ensure a healthy environment that is free from stress and negative pressures for each and every citizen.
"I am all dedicated to bolster cultural and traditional sources, support books in general, and local publications in particular, and pave the way for equal and fair success opportunities for all UAE nationals."
Giving a boost to Emirati women's skills, paying more attention to proper upbringing in curricula, seeking a coherent and integrated society, and ensuring protective measures against diseases are on top of Razzaq's agenda.
"I do believe that the FNC can be a decisive power that assists the executive departments and can professionally handle all the issues of the nation and nationals."
Razzaq said she is committed to providing all possible incentives to staff of education institutions, be they public or private. "I am also keen on building psychological counseling centres across the country including a physical education lesson in curricula."
Assisting local libraries and encouraging researches and studies in social and scientific issues are also important for her. "Providing elderly people with a convenient and healthy environment."
"I have decided to take the challenge and pledge to use my experience, skills and competencies in the service of the country if I win."
Razzaq underlined that her experience in the field of engineering will be an asset to the committees of the FNC.
The country has been so kind to all nationals, she said. "Therefore, I want to repay my country, particularly as I have grown up on this kind land and I am fully aware of its pulse."
