Imams and preachers in Ajman will deliver lectures to increase awareness of the public about the ongoing visa amnesty scheme. The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Ajman and the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments have signed an agreement to this effect.
As per the agreement, the Islamic affairs authority would direct its preachers to deliver lectures about the benefits of the scheme in three languages.
"Live lessons and briefings will be given to urge the public to avail of the three-month amnesty scheme and be legal residents," said Major Sultan Al Zaabi, head of communication section, GDRFA-Ajman.
