The Cabinet welcomed the outcome of the 14th consultative summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held in Riyadh, which emphasised the importance of boosting joint cooperation to create a comprehensive framework that catalyses development for the best interest of the peoples of the Gulf states.

Shaikh Mohammed highlighted the substantial development the UAE has attained and praised the active role the UAE plays on the regional and international arena; a role founded on the sound principles set by the founding fathers of the country.

The Cabinet also endorsed UAE’s membership in the Arab Union of Land Transport (AULT) in addition to a bilateral air transport and services agreement between the UAE and Lithuania.
