UAE leaders hold talks with Amir of Kuwait on relations, GCC

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Friday held talks with the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, with the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, in Abu Dhabi on Friday. Shaikh Sabah, who started his fraternal visit to the UAE, was received at the Presidential Flight Airport by Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Gen. Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed. — Wam

They discussed the deep-rooted ties between the UAE and Kuwait and ways to strengthen them in the best interest of the two people.

The Vice-President and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi expressed their satisfaction about the steady growth of fraternal relations that reflect the interest of the two people.

The two sides also reviewed the relations in the light of joint cooperation and coordination, thanks to the follow up of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

They also discussed the GCC joint work, stressing the support of both countries to the existing ties among the member states. The two sides tackled the latest regional and international developments, and exchanged views on issues of mutual concern.
