Saudi’s official news agency SPA reported that the projectile from Yemen towards one of the border villages in Jazan region fell on a public street, injuring five civilians, including three Saudi citizens and two Yemenis. It also damaged two houses, a grocery store and three civilian vehicles, said Colonel Mohammed bin Yahiya Al-Ghamdi, spokesman for the Civil Defence Directorate in Jazan Region.

Colonel Al-Ghamdi added that the injured were immediately transferred to the hospital.

On Saturday, Saudi Arabia intercepted a missile attack over its capital and bomb-laden drones targeting a southern province.
