Anti-Aids parade in RAK
RAS AL KHAIMAH - The RAK Police Department (RPD) organised a parade here yesterday to mark the World Aids Day under the slogan, Together against Aids.
A large number of teachers, students, police officials, and members of the public along with the police band took part in the procession. The carnival started from Al Manar Mall and passed through a number of the city’s main streets.
“The event was aimed at raising the public awareness with regard to issues related to Aids control and prevention,” Major -General Mohammed Al Noobi, Deputy Director of RPD, said.
