Bread prices go up in Al Ain too

AL AIN — The prices of Afghani and Pakistani bread have risen from 50 fils to 75 fils per piece following the increase in flour prices in the Al Ain city.

Mohamad Ajmal, who works with a bakery in Al Neyadat, said, “We increased the price of bread after the price of flour went up.”

Abdul Jabbar Al Afghani, a trader, said, “We came to this decision because of the high prices of raw materials such as gas, flour and yeast. This is going to inconvenience our customers. But we are helpless.”
