Children of prisoners receive Eid gifts
DUBAI - More than 400 children, visiting their fathers at the Dubai Central Prison, received Eidiya, an Eid gift, from a special division tasked with humanitarian services at Dubai Police, a senior officer said yesterday.
Major Adel Abdul Aziz Al Suwaidi, Director of Education and Rehabilitation Administration at the General Directorate of Punitive Establishments, said the Human Services Committee, formed by the directorate, took the step to contribute to the Eid happiness for children, who come to visit the prison to see their fathers. The gift included moneya and sweets.
