Creditable performance by Abu Dhabi students

ABU DHABI - Students of Abu Dhabi-based schools have performed well in the SSC Part-I Exams of the Islamabad-based Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.

Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Arab Pakistan School sent a total of 256 students for the examination this year. Among the girls, Anum Javaid topped and the school by securing 375 marks out of a possible 425 while Fatima Nasir came second with 368 marks and Sarah Noble came third with 363 marks.

Among the boys, Muhammad Hamid came first with 344 marks out of 425, while Sohaib Amir bagged the second place with 336 marks and Ahmed Khalid was placed third with 333 marks.


Islamia English School, Abu Dhabi performed creditably this year, securing 100 per cent pass results. Among the boys, Nasir Javed topped the list by scoring 345 marks, while Tuba Mumtaz topped the tally with 344 marks, followed by Kanwal Iqbal with 342 marks and Huda Zahoor-us-Salam scored 341 marks. Nohseen Yunas secured 335 marks and was among the A-1 graders.
