Renowned lecturer, on Human Resource Development as part of the inaugural activities of the Centre. The DM Training Centre was opened by Hussain Nasser Lootah, Acting Director-General of Dubai Municipality, on Wednesday.

The lecture was attended by a large number of Dubai Municipality employees and a large number of employees of different local government departments. Fuqai spoke about the “art of perfecting modern management strategies.” He was specially flown in from Canada for delivering the lecture which drew a lot of praise from the attendees.


Reuters to attend media show

DUBAI —The world’s largest international multimedia agency, Reuters, has announced its participation in the Media and Marketing Show 2006, to be held from November 27-29 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.

DMC team visits police station

DUBAI — Lt-Col. Saleh Hamid Obaid, Director of Rifaa Police Station, received a delegation from the Dubai Medical City, which was headed by Ahmed Al Khalsan, Director of Government Relations in Tatweer (Development) Company. They discussed cooperation in different sectors and institutions in the jurisdiction of the Rifaa Police Station, which includes many medical institutions, and international clinics.

Dancing duet contest

DUBAI — The much awaited ‘Jodi No.1 Muqabla’ is all set to take place on November 10 at the Shaikh Rashid Auditorium of the Indian School at 7pm. The event will see some talented dancing duets performing against Bollywood numbers and remixes in front of a select audience. Tickets at Dh50, Dh75 and Dh100 are available at popular outlets, including Winny’s Restaurant and Sind Punjab Restaurant.
