A unique facility that seeks to promote the development of the creative community in Dubai.
Located at DMC's Media Business Centre, the Hot Desk offers a business base for people pursuing creative vocations to operate independently such as painters, sculptors, writers, journalists, musicians, actors, producers and directors.
With its close proximity to companies in the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone, the facility will help creative professionals build relationships with the cream of the region's media and IT industries.
The Hot Desk provides a shared workspace and office infrastructure for creative professionals to set up quickly and operate with minimum costs and hassle. Hot Desk members will be entitled to all benefits of being a Dubai Media City Business Partner. These include sponsorship, simplified visa procedures and access to a range of support services.
"Supporting the development of the creative community is part of our larger strategy of nurturing talent in the region," said Abdulhamid Juma, CEO of Dubai Media City. "Our Media Business Centre has today developed into a large resource of talent that the industry can tap for their needs. Over the past two years, the Business Centre has supported the growth of many enterprising media professionals.
Hot Desk members will have access to IP Telephony and high-speed Internet connectivity. All members will have a direct telephone line and shared PO BOX and fax facilities. Shared facilities will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Individuals wishing to join the Hot Desk facility can apply with a CV to the Media Business Centre.
