The winners include Vijayan Vinod, Dawoodullah, Amina Abdulhadi, Gopal Ram and Prakash Israni. Rashid A. Ben Fares, Inspector General, Emirates Post, presented the winners each with return air tickets for two. The tickets can be redeemed to any of the following destinations: London, Paris, Sydney, Singapore and Johannesburg.
The promotion was open to anyone sending a parcel through the 75 post offices as well as postal agencies and hotels across the UAE. The customer's name was automatically entered into the grand draw through a computer-generated parcel tracking number.
"Our new parcel promotion was designed to provide maximum benefits to residents as well as visitors during the Dubai Shopping Festival. It proved to be a huge success because the customers didn't have to carry extra luggage when they travelled back home," said Abdulla Al Daboos, Director-General of Emirates Post.
The winners, while appreciating the discounts offered in the promotion, said they were thrilled by the prizes.
