Etisalat's attractive offer for broadband customers

DUBAI — Etisalat has announced an attractive promotion for its Al Shamil home broadband service.

In association with a consortium of partners, this move is aimed at increasing mobility and Internet penetration in the UAE by giving consumers access to reasonably priced computer hardware bundled with an Al Shamil broadband connection.

Through the promotion, existing and new customers of Etisalat, starting today, can purchase laptops from Acer, HP and Dell bundled with the Al Shamil broadband service based on a specially discounted price. These models are exclusive to the promotion and will be available to all existing and new Al Shamil broadband service customers. Customers can pick up any of the four models of laptops on offer from any branch of leading UAE based retail partners Emirates Computers and Jumbo Electronics with prices starting as low as Dh199 a month on an installment basis. Customers can view the full lineup of laptops from the retail partners at the upcoming GITEX Shopper exhibition.

Al Shamil broadband customers will also have access to attractive installment plans from financing partners such as Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and Sharjah Islamic bank (SIB). Customers can sign up for the installment schemes at any Etisalat business centre or at the chosen retail partners without having to visit partner banks for any formalities.

All the laptops from Acer, HP and Dell provide great new features and functionality in order to work with the next generation of applications, devices and peripherals. With support from Intel, these laptops based on the latest Intel(r) Core 2 Duo and Centrino processors deliver multi-tasking performance and wireless communication for people on the move. Microsoft support is inbuilt with Windows XP as a standard operating system.

Customers who subscribe to this offer can subscribe to any of the five packages of Al Shamil that is: 256K, 512K, 1Mb, 2 Mb and Time based package. They will now be able to surf the Internet at high speeds and download the latest music and videos, enjoy online gaming and other applications. They can also enjoy standard value added free features which include enhanced storage, Norton Anti Virus, Norton Personal Firewall, email Anti Virus and Anti Spam Plus to provide users with a more secure online environment.
