Focus on life of expatriate achievers
DUBAI - Dubai Television (Channel 33) will telecast, during prime time, a series of biographical documentaries on the life of Dubai's expat achievers from July 6.
Entitled 'Land of Opportunities', the 52, 45-minute episodes tell stories of people who have come to Dubai from all over the world. The stories include those of a simple sailor and pearl diver who has developed a huge business empire and a small horading painter who has become a celebrity photographer.
The programme tells a story of these achievers as a rememberance of the past, the present and a look into their future. The initial episodes will broadcast star personalities, such as Colm McLoughlin (Managing Director, Dubai Duty Free), Joseph Ghossoub (Managing Partner Team Y&R), Richard Corram (Talent Brokers), Ramesh Shukla (Royal Photographer), Dave Blakely (Alamos Restaurant), as well as other personalities.
