Greenery projects being executed in Ajman
AJMAN - Ajman Municipality constructed recently a comprehensive nursery for supplying seeds and various types of plants as part of its major beautification and greenery plans that covered several areas in the emirate.
The horticulture section of the Ajman Municipality is implementing several afforestation projects.
The municipality will soon start operating a new irrigation system during the next few months at Musharaf Garden which is considered one of the most beautiful sites in the emirate. A fence around the garden was also constructed.
Opening Al Haluo Park will also be among the municipality's plans after constructing a fence and other public areas. Palm trees will be planted in the garden and the municipality will announce a date to open the park.
Several trees were also planted on roads in Al Musharaf area which will be linked to an advanced irrigation network expected to finish soon following a contract between the municipality and a firm.
Regarding the beautification plans at the Cornish area facing the Ruler's Court in Ajman, the municipality is executing a comprehensive afforestation plan.
The municipality will also launch greenery projects at Al Jarf area, Al Hamidya interchange and other areas in the emirate in line with its annual environment programmes.
