Dr Mohammed Abdel Latif, Director of the AMC, said there is a tangible improvement in liver function in 80 per cent of Hepatitis B patients, including a drop in the amount of virus detected in their blood and a rise in the number of antibodies to the virus. The condition of patients depends on how closely they follow the alternative medicine treatment course prescribed for them.

He said that patients who have been completely cured have travelled abroad and carried out tests which confirmed they are free of the Hepatitis B virus. The patients who were cured followed the medical course set by the AMC.

Dr Abdel Latif said the patients do not need any chemical based medication, they only needed a dietary and health programme that rejuvenated the function of bodily organs, together with some herbs which combat viruses.
