Hospital revises charges

ABU DHABI — With effect from August 1, Corniche Hospital, one of the biggest maternity hospitals in the country, will introduce a new revised fee structure for expatriate patients.

According to the new fee structure, which has recently been approved by the Abu Dhabi Finance Department, for a major Caesarean section Dh2,500 would be charged, while for a normal one Dh1,500 would be charged. Besides, Dh1,000 would be charged for a normal delivery. A fee of Dh150 would be charged for doctor’s consultation/follow-up at the out-patient clinic and Dh250 for consultation at the infertility clinic. The patients, who would stay in a private room, would be charged Dh500 per night, while Dh300 per bed will be charged from patients who will be admitted to the hospital.

For X-rays test, the Corniche Hospital will charge Dh80, for a pathological examination Dh50 while for each physiotherapy session Dh90 would be charged.
