The drug peddler, A.H.A., 28, who was named as the supplier of the drugs by the women, was sentenced by the Dubai Court of First Instance yesterday to life in prison for dealing in drugs.
On February 26 this year, police on a tip-off arrested two women, F.A.N., 21, and F.D.D., 27, for using drugs in their apartment in Qusais. Police seized 5.7 grams of hashish hidden inside a bag belonging to one of the women. A small quantity of drug was also found with another woman. A third woman, L.A.N., 23, in the apartment was also arrested. F.A.N. told police that A.H.A. sold them the drugs.
Police apprehended the drug peddler, A.H.A. in a sting operation from the apartment in Al Qusais.
He had 93.2 grams of hashish in his possession at the time of his arrest, which he wanted to sell to the women.
