Local woman electrocuted
RAS AL KHAIMAH — An electric shock caused the death of a young lady here on Tuesday evening.
The 23-year-old UAE woman died while taking a shower with the geyser (electric water heater) still on.
The mishap happened in the lady’s family home in Khuzam area.
The electrocuted woman was taken to the Emergency Department of Saqr Hospital where she was immediately pronounced dead.
RAK Police sources have called upon all the residents to ensure that all their electrical home appliances are in a good condition and are maintained on a regular basis.
