PAD Meena Bazaar tomorrow

DUBAI — The Ladies’ Wing of Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD) is organising a Meena Bazaar tomorrow at the Pakistan Sports and Recreation Club, proceeds of which will be forwarded to a charity hospital in Pakistan.

An annual feature organised by the Ladies’ Wing, the Meena Bazaar is aimed at providing family entertainment to families of all nationalities. Each year, the proceeds from the event, attended by thousands of women of all nationalities, are donated to a humanitarian cause. This year, the proceeds will be donated to a charity hospital, which needs over a billion rupees every year to treat the ever-increasing number of cancer patients.

“Our similar functions in the past have been very successful with participation of families of all nationalities in huge numbers,” said Naheed Nafees, Chairperson, Pakistan Association Ladies’ Wing, Dubai.

The Pakistan Association Ladies’ Wing, Dubai is a social and charitable organisation for the ladies living in the UAE. The association aims at providing a platform for the Pakistani ladies’ living in the UAE to meet and mingle through different social, cultural, religious, entertainment and health-related programmes. It also tries to help the needy in Pakistan and the UAE by raising funds for them.
